When I started building this site, my goals were to go into pharmacological sciences. Having experienced Biomedical science up close, I have changed them. September 2019 I will be due to start a computing degree switching from Biomed. My experience with technology and creating this website provides the skills I need to "get a foot in the door". With technology moving so quickly, scientists in any field, need to have the ability to quickly shift and learn new techniques of investigation. With knowledge of biological science, I hope to go further in exploring Pharmacoinformatics being the study of pharmacology and computational systems of the future.

I have experience in working in Bars and restaurants which helped develop my "people" skills. Along with my position held as an SME for a large technological company supporting mobile devices, have also given me skills to get me ready for the challenges of university. This has also given me the opportunity to develop this website and Google Chrome Extensions.

Freshers week!

I thought it only fitting to make a page all about freshers and basically what it is. I have no idea at the moment since I've never been an official fresher. But soon I will know exactly what it is.

During Freshers Week there will always be awkwardness whether it's meeting new people or doing the standard events and getting drunk at the nightclub. The first week is of course Freshers week, where all students meet others and get to know their Lecturers, the campus and the new city they're in. September 2018 will be when I finally reach the goal I've been working towards since 2016, actually going to university.

Anyway, there's not much more content I can add until I actually start, or even have pictures etc, it's coming quicker than I could ever have imagined as well!!!
The Hive, is the library where we collect all our books, and is the only (at the time of writing) joint university and city library. It's basically giant and gold in the city centre. Contact askalibrarian@worc.ac.uk (INSERT email contact link as well). We have subject specific librarians who can help us with our subject/ writing stuff.

Student Services includes firstpoint, which is as the name says, is the first point of contact for all student enquiries. -> firstpoint@worc.ac.uk. If they're not able to help they will point you in the correct direction. Also provides access to writing academically through the writers in Firstpoint, along with IT support being in the pierson centre.

The final part of Wednesday's afternoon session. Registry and assessment journey. This was a simple lecture on what to do if you're caught cheating, or if you need any further information about plagiarism etc.
Comedy night was brilliant, there were three comedians invited to take part, all outstanding. Not really sure what I can put down as when writing this it's been a week. But it was brilliant either way. Placeholder comedy night
